Senior Pastor Robert Bennett
It is Pastor Robert Bennett's great joy to serve our Lord with gladness! God called him to preach in 1981 and has blessed him with the opportunity to receive his Bachelors of Science degree in Christian Education from Wayland Baptist University and a Pastoral Care Diploma from Southern Baptist Theological Seminaries. He graduated from Luther Rice College and Seminary with a Masters in Christian Studies. He has been blessed with a wonderful wife, Sherree, two outstanding children, Jake and Josh, and a beautiful granddaughter. It has been his great joy to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see Him use it to touch the world with His love

Ted Merrell, Associate Pastor
"It is my great joy and honor to serve our MHBC family. My Sunday School teacher helped me trust Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old. When I grew up, I wanted to follow my brother’s example and become a pastor, so I attended his alma mater, Appalachian Bible College, where I met my wonderful wife Becky. God has blessed us with three daughters and two sons-in-law who love Jesus and who point our four grandkids to The Way." - Ted Merrell
Pam Valdes, Music Director
Pam spent 26 years teaching elementary music in the public-school system and after retirement, began full-time music ministry at MHBC after serving in a bi-vocational capacity for many years. Pam joined Madison Hills Baptist Church in the summer of 1999, after leading music at the chapel on Brooks Air Force Base for 7 years.
It is her great joy to be able to share the love of Jesus through music with people of all ages, including our Handbell Choir, our Worship Band and our Worship Choir. Pam also leads the music in our Sunday morning worship services each week.

Sharon Cummings, Mother's Day Out Director
Sharon Cummings has been a member of Madison Hills Baptist Church for 40 years, and director of Mother’s Day Out since retiring from NEISD in 2013. Sharon taught high school and coached for four years before becoming a stay at home mom. She resumed her career by teaching 4th grade for 21 years.
Sharon says "God opened this door and now allows me the opportunity to still be around children and their parents as we share about Jesus' love."

Caitlyn Lockwood, Youth Minister
Caitlyn accepted Christ into her life at seven years old and a calling to youth ministry at the age of twelve. She graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2022 where she studied psychology and youth development. Caitlyn is now attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to earn her Masters of Divinity. It is a great joy and blessing to Caitlyn that she gets to follow her passion each day working with youth and bringing them closer to God.

Christina Vaquera, Christian School Teacher
Christina became a Christian at an early age and has attended church her entire life. She's known since she was young that God was leading her to a career in education. Christina graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and in 2010, she graduated with her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UTSA. Christina and her husband Chris joined Madison Hills Baptist Church in January 2013 and she has been teaching at the school here since the fall of that same year.

Melissa Patterson, Financial Administrator
Melissa has been a member of Madison Hills Baptist Church since 2007 and has been on staff since 2009. She is happily married to her husband Daniel and they have two beautiful daughters, Mikayla and Ryleigh.
"Family is very important to me and that's why I love Madison Hills. We are one big family that takes care of each other and loves Jesus."
