The MHBC Mother's Day Out is an acclaimed program and was started in 1979. Our MDO classes provides a well-rounded preschool program for your child in a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment.

About our MDO Program
Mother's Day Out at Madison Hills
Our staff members are background checked, Christian teachers with a wide range of experience to help your child grow and be challenged. Christ is the center of our program.
Each week we share a Bible story with our children. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 2 pm. Our goal is to plant the seeds of God's love in every child that comes through our doors. Our classes range in age from 4 months to Pre-K.
Beginning with our youngest class, we believe that each child is teachable, a sponge waiting to absorb life's truths. Each class curriculum consists of age appropriate preschool skills. Children learn the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. During daily chapel, our children are engaged through a story and singing.

Mother's Day Out Director
Sharon Cummings
Sharon Cummings has been a member of Madison Hills Baptist Church for 40 years, and director of Mother’s Day Out since retiring from NEISD in 2013. Sharon taught high school and coached for four years before becoming a stay at home mom. She resumed her career by teaching 4th grade for 21 years.
Sharon says "God opened this door and now allows me the opportunity to still be around children and their parents as we share about Jesus love."
Sharon and her husband, Don joined MHBC in its early years and taught in various areas. She has been widowed since 1997. Their son, Randy was born into the MHBC family and now serves as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
